question, why does it say per level for drop suit skills?

calisk galern BurgezzE.T.F Public Disorder. 954	Posted - 2013.09.17 16:09:00 - [1] - Quote so I am speccing into gallente logi suits. the skill bonus reads that it lowers the cpu and pg requirement of equipment by 5% per rank. leveling up the skill doesn't sem to effect this at all, so my only guess is I either missed a key word somewhere or it's a one time bonus, I suppose it could be broken as well. anyway I had 51 of 51 pg before I ranked up and had 51 of 51 after I ranked up.

calisk galern BurgezzE.T.F Public Disorder. 954	Posted - 2013.09.17 17:36:00 - [4] - Quote it's a standard suit I had this problem yesterday I say basic suit when I mean standard. it's a standard gallente logistics suit. if i had 51/51 pg before upgrading, after upgrading i should of had more pg to spare. 5 % should of been about 48/51 pg was an advanced scanner, standard nano hive and standard nano injector.

Any piece of equipment's PG requirement is reduced by P% because of that bonus. yes but i still had the full 51 of my 51 pg. meaning it reduced nothing -.- nowhere in this thread did I say anywhere that it should be increasing my pg.

Im not sure how the rounding works however if its a cpu and pg bonus, you should be seeing the bonus on the cpu unfortunately I didn't take note of that before I ranked up, I will be paying a lot more attention for rank 3, 4, and 5 though.

A 0.45 decrease gets rounded down to 0. An item needs at least a 0.5 decrease for it to give a 1.0 decrease in PG used. Addressed in post #22, this could be correct but only if the rounding is done in a way to either always round up or always round down.

If I am reading this correctly, here is your problem. The reduction in cost is associated with the level in Gallente Logi skill not the Gallente Medium Dropsuit skill. You aren't seeing a reduction because you aren't leveling the correct skill and/or you aren't using the right suit. Give more complete information; what is the level of the Gal Logi Skill at? what suit are you trying to use? I am a Gal Logi at Proto and I can confirm that the skill is working correctly. All info has been given throughout the course of the thread. Gallente logistics skill rank 2. Equip being used was given. Suit is the correct standard logistics frame. At this point it seems most likely to just be a rounding issue which I can confirm once I rank the skill up once more.
